Banh Bao – what an outstanding culinary experience! From the minute I walked in, I was enveloped by a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that emanated from every corner of this trendy restaurant. Bao Yum
⭐ Our Unvarnished Impressions of Bao Yum:
Bao Yum – the name itself is enough to get your taste buds excited and craving for some delicious Baos. From the moment you enter this little corner of heaven tucked away in John Islip Street, London, you can’t help but feel pleasantly surprised by its unique decor and ambiance. This place has quickly become my go-to when I’m looking for a quick snack or even a full meal with friends!
Every time I visit Bao Yum, I am greeted with warm smiles from the friendly staff who make sure that everything we order is served fresh and hot. The selection of Baos offered here is quite impressive! Everything from Japanese Pork Belly to Chicken Honey Ginger Teriyaki and even Kung Pao Shrimp is available! One thing that sets them apart from other similar places in London, however, is that there’s just the right amount of filling in each bun so you get an equal balance.
But what really takes me back here every time is their Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Open Bao with iced coffee – it’s like fireworks going off in your mouth as they have perfectly blended flavours which will leave you wanting more. Even though sometimes customers might have to wait a bit longer if things are made on-demand like their fried chicken bao; they do tell proactively about expected waiting times at counter.
Overall Bao Yum offers quality food at affordable prices with good service – it totally deserves being one of my favourites spots in town!

BAO Mary
⭐ Our Honest Opinion of BAO Mary:
BAO Mary – a new outlet of my favourite BAO restaurant in London that I was so eager to visit! As soon as I walked into the cosy and inviting interior, it felt like stepping into an oasis from the busy streets outside. The amazing service by Ming made me feel welcomed and appreciated right from the start. Although there were limited options for larger parties, their bar table was perfect for solo diners like myself.
I indulged in some soy-boiled eggs and classic BAO, which were simply divine! But what surprised me most were their unique dishes such as Cull yaw dumplings with sour plum tea which tasted remarkable. However, the star dish for me had to be friend bao with smoked aubergine – a pleasant surprise that had my taste buds wanting more.
The impeccable service and delicious food are something everyone should experience at this new BAO branch. Their consistency in quality across different locations is commendable while offering great deals through their app on various branches only adds to a fantastic overall dining experience. If you’re looking for tasty Taiwanese cuisine served in an intimate setting by friendly staff, reserve your spot ahead of time and pay them a visit- worth every penny!

From the moment I stepped into Master Bao, I knew that I was in for a dining experience like no other. The restaurant’s delectable Taiwanese-inspired dishes are simply irresistible! Choosing was difficult, but finally settling on the chicken bao and prawn bao coupled with delicious sides of edamame and fried chicken made for an unforgettable meal.

Flesh & Buns Oxford Circus
⭐ An Unfiltered Assessment of Flesh & Buns Oxford Circus:
Flesh & Buns Oxford Circus – what a brilliant place! From the moment I walked in, I was immediately captivated by the contemporary decor and chic ambiance. The staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming, to say the least. We started off with chips and dips which were tasty but could have done with more flavouring.
