Curzon Victoria, what an extraordinary cinema experience! Upon arrival, I was greeted with a beautiful space to hang out and enjoy my drink before the movie. The spacious sofas gave me a feeling of having my own private space, which was perfect for relaxing before the film commenced. The layout across the floors is spacious and luxurious – it’s not just any discount theatre.
The screens themselves were well maintained and incredibly clean; even the toilets looked aesthetically pleasing! Inside the cinema hall, I found myself sinking into one of their recliner chairs that allowed me to slide back and forth easily if I wanted to lie down or readjust my position during the film—such a treat!
The icing on top of this lavish cake was definitely Curzon Victoria's staff. Their friendly and chatty disposition made me feel right at home while giving recommendations on films and seats available. Finally, when it comes to refreshments, they served fantastic drinks/nibbles selection- some yummy honeycomb sweets included!
In conclusion: With comfy seats, decent sound quality in small auditoriums along with good coffee from the bar – not to mention those fabulous membership deals- you can bet that this wonderful service is worth visiting over and over again!

Why bother heading to those generic chain cinemas when you can discover Close-Up? I have been using this wonderful venue myself for events spanning across five whole years now simply because they never fail in providing us with such an incomparable atmosphere everytime we visit!
In fact, Close-Up Cinema left such a big impression on me that when it came time for birthday celebrations – there was no other place our group wanted to be celebrating! From the get-go they made arranging things easy-breezy and welcomed us into their establishment warmly ensuring our night went off without anymore else having to give it second thought. Backyard Cinema is a must-visit for all movie and entertainment enthusiasts! From the moment I stepped through the doors, the energy of the crew was infectious and created such an exciting atmosphere. I attended the Miami event with some friends, and we were blown away by how much effort had been put into every aspect. The pre-show was fantastic – it really sets the tone for what's to come. We indulged in cocktails and popcorn before settling down on our comfy sack seats.
The decor is phenomenal, from start to finish everything feels so immersive – it's like you've traveled somewhere else entirely! Although not quite as comfortable as traditional cinema seating, I loved snuggling up with my blankets in one of their cozy sacks while watching ‘Grease'. What made this experience even more special was how passionate all members of staff were about making sure everyone had a great time.
Overall, Backyard Cinema exceeded my expectations. It offers something truly unique and different compared to your standard cinema visit which makes it an absolute must-visit. ⭐ Our Honest Opinion of BFI IMAX:
BFI IMAX, I have never experienced a cinema quite like it! From the moment I walked in, the modern and sleek design immediately caught my attention. Upon entering the massive screening room, I was blown away by the breathtaking display of visual technology – seriously, this screen is 20 metres by 26 metres! It's no wonder that BFI IMAX boasts having one of the best picture qualities in the UK. My VIP seat provided ample legroom and comfort throughout my cinematic adventure.
What really stood out to me was how accommodating BFI IMAX were to their customers. For instance, prior to Avatar 2 starting we had trailers which lasted around 25 minutes with ads. But that didn't matter as I took advantage of visiting one of their two cafe areas either on level one or on ground floor for some tasty snacks while waiting. Additionally, all staff members were exceptionally helpful from start to finish.
Although ticket prices may be slightly higher than average cinemas, BFI IMAX provides an experience like no other. The sound quality matched its impressive visuals; it made me feel fully immersed in what was happening on-screen. Admittedly though seating space could be accommodated better but rest assured if you go now yoou would find new comfortable seats added since December last year which helped with our Avatar watch ttime being over two hours forty minutes!
Overall, I highly recommend checking out BFI IMAX for any movie lover who wants an unforgettable viewing experience with sharp images & unforgettably amazing audio at a place where everything seems convenient so close public transportations as well as nice cafe areas under one roof too., not just another night at your standard cinema chain – because trust me when I say this is something special!

The small upstairs café with its stained glass window and balcony overlooking High Road provides a cozy and intimate atmosphere ideal for enjoying drinks or snacks before or after screenings. Phoenix Cinema prides itself on supporting independent filmmakers from around the world showcasing works that are off-the-beaten-path. Their film studies program adds another layer of appreciation and understanding to each screening presented.
Their charity-based business model means they rely heavily on public support- something I am happy to contribute towards given their dedication towards preserving both history and culture; It seems like such rare qualities these days.
