☝️ How we rated the services below:
Here, we have compiled a list of criteria for reviewing the best running routes in London. We hope that this will help runners select the most suitable route and provide relevant information on each route’s features.
- Accessibility: A great running track should be easily accessible either by foot, public transport or car depending on one’s preference.
- Scenery: The scenic view offers an enjoyable experience as you run. An excellent place to enjoy nature like parks with trees and waterway views can make your jogging session more pleasant.
- Terrain: It is essential to consider the type of surface material that makes up the running track as some may not be comfortable for people who are prone to injuries or those with specific preferences such as flat surfaces.
- Safety Measures taken into consideration: For safety reasons, all tracks must have proper lighting, ideally around sunset times when visibility dwindles; clean surroundings free from littering which could cause accidents; security personnel available where necessary; and any other preventative measures put in place towards accident-free running sessions.
- Length/Distance Markers: Runners appreciate having markers displaying the distance covered since not everyone carries tracking devices during exercises.
- Overall Experience: Lastly giving an overall opinion of what was experienced while jogging at a particular location including the ambience created by calming activities like yoga spots along the way also counts toward enhancing one’s jogging experience.

Parkland Walk
⭐ An Unfiltered Assessment of Parkland Walk:
Parkland Walk is nothing short of magnificent! From the moment you step onto the walkway, you are transported into a world that is entirely serene and peaceful. As I walked along this disused railway line, it was incredibly hard not to get completely enveloped by its charm. Early in the morning or late at night during quieter times, it’s especially magical.
My journey began from the Highgate station entrance to Finsbury Park where it ended after a leisurely stroll for two miles. The former railway line really contributes significantly to London’s park network, offering an idyllic setting for dog walkers and joggers alike. There are plenty of street art onsite with some old platforms still visible adding to its beauty.
Finally, if you’re looking for an escape from city life or just want some fresh air amongst nature reserves away from noise pollution altogether; then look no further than Parkland Walk! It’s one of London’s hidden gems which boasts wildlife sightings such as squirrels and birds always chirping away merrily throughout your visit while getting some exercise too. Highly recommended!

- Multiple entrances to join the walk

⭐ Our Honest Opinion of Battersea Park:
Battersea Park is an absolute must-visit! Being in the middle of a big city like London, you might be skeptical about parks being any good. But trust me, Battersea really delivers! As soon as I entered the park, I was greeted by beautiful birds singing and heard laughter coming from all directions. That’s when I knew this was going to be a great day.
Walking around the park was such a treat too – everywhere you looked there were stunning sights to see. It’s such a massive park so if walking isn’t your thing they’ve got plenty of other things for you too – mini-golf anyone? Or maybe swinging through trees at Go Ape?
The highlight for me though had to be enjoying food and drinks under blue skies at The Pear Tree Cafe while taking in everything happening around me.
