⭐ Our Unvarnished Impressions of ROBATA:
ROBATA, where do I even begin? This place blew me away with its incredible fusion of contemporary Japanese flavors. From the moment you step into this cozy little spot on Old Compton Street, you know you're in for a treat.
Let's talk about the food – it was simply mind-blowing. The dishes were served quick and fresh, and each one had a unique twist that made my taste buds dance with joy. The steak was out-of-this-world amazing, especially when paired with that delectable sauce. And don't get me started on the sushi – every roll was a piece of art, perfectly crafted to perfection.
But it wasn't just the food that impressed me at ROBATA; it was also the impeccable service. Despite being packed with customers, the staff managed to attend to everyone with grace and efficiency. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great advice on what to try. In fact, they even went above and beyond by helping me find my lost headphones!
Now, I have to be honest – there were a couple of things that didn't quite hit the mark for me. The soft shell sushi and tacos tasted overly fishy, which didn't quite please my palate. However, these minor setbacks paled in comparison to all the other outstanding dishes we savored.
In conclusion, ROBATA is an absolute gem in Soho if you're craving some top-notch Japanese cuisine with a contemporary twist. Trust me when I say that this place is worth visiting time after time. Sticks'n' Sushi Soho
⭐ Our Unvarnished Impressions of Sticks'n' Sushi Soho:
Sticks'n' Sushi Soho, what a treat! From the moment I stepped into this trendy restaurant in the heart of London's vibrant Soho neighborhood, I was captivated by its sleek and chic atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home.
Now let's talk about the food. Oh boy, where do I even begin? The menu is a work of art, with visually stunning images that made my mouth water. And let me tell you, the dishes lived up to their presentation. Each bite was packed with rich flavors that danced on my palate. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian like myself (although options were limited), there is something for everyone here.
The sushi rolls were good, but it was the wagyu sticks that stole the show for me. Tender and bursting with flavor, they left me wanting more. However, as someone who had visited Sticks'n' Sushi Soho four years ago,I must admit that while still delicious, the quality seemed to have slightly declined since then.
Despite this minor setback, the prices are reasonable considering the excellent food and delightful ambiance. Just keep in mind that they automatically add a 20% service tip to your bill.
Overall though, this place ticked all the boxes for me; great food, wonderful service, and an inviting atmosphere.I would definitely make it a priority to visit Sticks'n' Sushi Soho again on my next trip to London. The experience is worth every penny!

Final Thoughts
As we draw the curtain on our tour, ask yourself this: who would have thought that the vibrant heart of London holds such a treasure trove of sake wonders? The sheer range and quality are astounding: from novices to connoisseurs, there's something for everyone. Adventurous fusion offerings, and meticulous attention to authenticity – it is truly an experience one MUST venture into! To those who yearn for more dynamic sakes or simply wish meander in tradition – wherever your preferences lie – I urge you to explore these pockets of Japan nestled in our magnificent city. Delighted by what you discover? Don’t be shy; share your little slice of Nippon right here in London with others! You can also visit their websites for great deals and events.
