The service was exceptional, providing a professional and warm welcome – making me feel like an honoured guest from start to finish.
The ambiance inside La Bodega Negra is unlike anything else I’ve ever seen before. It felt as though I had been transported straight into Mexico itself, dancing through vibrant authenticity while being serenaded by amazing music! One thing that cannot go unmentioned are their cocktails!!! They elevate your meal and offer such delightful complements to the dishes they serve here, which made our dining experience all-the-more impressive!
Overall, this restaurant has my solid recommendation for its delicious food selection consisting of exotic flavours for any adventurous palate! Every item should be celebrated but you would do yourselves justice indulging in their fabulous starters like guacamole or prawn toastada before ordering those must-have mouth watering tacos too boot!! La Chingada Mexican Food – what can I say? This place definitely impressed me! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with colourful decor and a bustling atmosphere. As someone who has struggled to find authentic tacos in London, this restaurant came as a relief. The street tacos were deliciously simple yet bursting with flavour. What’s more, the sauces that accompanied them were out of this world!
The burritos were also top-notch – both the chicken and beef options left me feeling satisfied but not too full. If you’re daring enough for some spice, go for the chicken option! The chorizo quesadillas are another must-try item on their menu.
Although it was busy when we visited, with people seated inside and waiting outside, the staff remained friendly and helpful throughout our meal. The only downside is that prices could be slightly lower (especially for the tacos) – however, given La Chingada’s quality ingredients and true-to-form Mexican flavours, it’s understandable.
Overall – if you’re looking for real-deal Mexican food with fantastic cocktails in an enjoyable atmosphere then La Chingada should no doubt be your next stop.However they do need bigger tortilas!

Tigre Tacos at Dona! Oh boy, where do I even begin? This hidden gem in Stoke Newington has won over my taste buds and Mexican food cravings. Guacamole is always a must-have for me and theirs had lumps in all the right places as it should, which was just perfect to mash up with their crispy chips.
