The authenticity of their cuisine is unparalleled, reminding me of home and leaving my taste buds dancing with delight.

Although there was a slightly stroppy girl at first, the rest of the team more than made up for it with their genuine kindness and hospitality. It’s evident that they have a passion for what they do.

The restaurant may be small in size, but it boasts an impressive number of staff members, which did lead me to believe they were perhaps overstaffed. However, this did not detract from the overall experience.

Farang London

⭐ A Personal Take on Farang London:

Farang London, oh how I wish I had discovered you sooner! From the very first bite to the last lingering taste on my tongue, this place delighted and astonished me. Let me begin by saying that you must book a table at Farang before even reading another review – trust me, it’s that good.

As I walked through the doors of this award-winning restaurant, I was immediately struck by its vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The staff greeted me with warmth, making me feel right at home. And then came the food…oh my goodness! Each dish served was a masterpiece in itself – fresh, beautifully presented, bursting with flavors that danced across my taste buds.

I cannot recommend their roti and veg curry enough; they were absolute showstoppers. But it didn’t stop there. The sea bass stole my heart with its theatrics – an outer layer of acidic curry enveloping a creamy coconut base inside the fish. And let’s not forget about those tiger prawns in rich curry sauce or the aromatic turmeric butter roti.

The only tiny critique I have is that perhaps the papaya salad could have been slightly sweeter to balance out its acidity and spice level – but we’re talking about splitting hairs here!

The service at Farang deserves special mention as well. Not only were they accommodating towards our furry friend (yes, they welcomed dogs!), but their attentiveness and professionalism were top-notch.

In conclusion, Farang London is a culinary gem that should be experienced firsthand rather than settling for their heat-at-home pre-packaged fare (though still delicious). So go ahead and treat yourself to an unforgettable dining experience filled with remarkable Thai cuisine – trust me when I say you won’t regret it!

Nipa Thai

⭐ Our Unvarnished Impressions of Nipa Thai:

Nipa Thai. Just the name alone transports me to a world of tantalizing flavors and aromatic spices. And let me tell you, this restaurant lives up to its name in every way possible. From the moment you step foot into Nipa Thai, you’re greeted with warm smiles from the lovely staff, making you feel right at home.

Located on the first floor along Lancaster Terrace, this hidden gem offers more than just a feast for your taste buds. With stunning views overlooking Hyde Park, dining here is an experience for all senses. The food? Oh boy, where do I even begin? Every bite of the vegetarian set menu was like a burst of heavenly goodness in my mouth – from the papaya salad to the corn fritters and pad thai, each dish exuded authenticity and skillful spicing.

But what really impressed me was their willingness to cater to different dietary preferences. They effortlessly veganised their menu for us by swapping out one dessert option – now that’s what I call going above and beyond! However, I must admit that as much as I loved the food here, I couldn’t help but wish they had more expanded vegan options like a massaman curry.

Champor-Champor

⭐ Our Honest Opinion of Champor-Champor:

Champor-Champor, a hidden gem tucked away in Weston Street, SE1. Let me start by saying that this place is an absolute culinary delight! The best Thai food I’ve had in London hands down. From the moment I stepped into its creative interior, I knew this was going to be a unique dining experience.

Firstly, the food presentation at Champor-Champor is top-notch. Each dish was beautifully crafted and truly a feast for both the eyes and taste buds. The soft shell crab was an explosion of flavor and freshness, while the roasted pork boasted delightful flavors that lingered on my palate.

But let’s talk about their King prawn green curry – it’s a force to be reckoned with! Those juicy prawns were simply divine, perfectly cooked in a delectable curry that had just the right balance of spices.

Now onto dessert… oh my goodness! The rice pudding with green tea pistachio was absolutely heavenly. It left me wanting more even though I couldn’t possibly fit another bite!

Apart from outstanding cuisine, Champor-Champor excelled in service too. The staff were incredibly helpful and made my dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Sure, there were some minor hiccups like slightly tough beef rendang and rubbery red snapper; but overall, those are small blips compared to all the mouthwatering dishes I tried here.

If you’re looking for an extraordinary Thai dining adventure filled with exotic flavors and impeccable service, look no further than Champor-Champor – it’s worth every penny spent!

Busaba

⭐ Our Genuine Review of Busaba:

Busaba, oh Busaba! What an incredible find in the bustling heart of London. From the moment I stepped into this hidden gem on Wardour Street, I knew I was in for a special treat. The aroma of Thai spices wafted through the air, enticing my senses and setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The menu at Busaba is a tantalizing fusion of traditional and contemporary Thai cuisine. And let me tell you, every bite was blissful. The calamari was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with flavors that danced on my tongue. As for the beef ginger dish, it was simply divine – succulent slices of meat marinated to perfection and accompanied by a medley of fragrant herbs and spices.

But what truly impressed me were their lunch specials. For just £12, I indulged in their scrumptious Pad Thai – a dish that would normally cost £14. It felt like a steal! The value for money here is remarkable.

Now, let’s talk about service – attentive but not intrusive; prompt but not rushed. The staff at Busaba truly went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Their helpful recommendations added to our gastronomic journey as we savored each mouth-watering morsel.

In conclusion, if you haven’t visited Busaba yet, you’re missing out big time! This enchanting restaurant will transport your taste buds straight to Thailand with its delectable dishes prepared with passion and precision. Whether it’s a team lunch or an intimate dinner date, Busaba is where memories are made over sumptuous food and warm hospitality.

👍 Our Reasons for Recommending:

  • Amazing Calamari and Beef ginger

  • Attentive and helpful service staff
