Our favourites were baba ganoush (smokey) and cacik (thick & creamy). My taste buds were in bliss!

There’s nothing quite like authentic Turkish food and this joint definitely knows how to serve it up right. The dΓ©cor of Kibele Restaurant is chic and modern with touches of traditional Turkish design. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and sophisticated which made my visit even more enjoyable.
What sets Kibele Restaurant apart from other places in London were the staff. They genuinely care about their customers’ experiences at the restaurant; they’re friendly, attentive to your needs, and professional all at once. Even though our party had some demanding requests (sorry not sorry!), the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us without making us feel out of place.

The service was fantastic, with attentive staff who made sure our every need was catered for. And then came the food…oh my goodness! This has to be one of the tastiest Turkish cuisine restaurants in London.
I’m not usually one to rave about chicken kebabs but this place changed that for me. The texture and flavour were out of this world; so juicy and tender – it melted in my mouth. Apart from that, their falafel main dish is also worth trying out! You can tell that all dishes are freshly prepared by watching the kitchen staff working away on them.
Yes, there are pricier items on the menu such as bottled water (fine print: it’s Β£5.50!). But trust me when I say those lamb chops and chicken dishes make up for everything – every sauce tasted amazing too! Not only do you get quality food at GΓΆkyΓΌzΓΌ Green Lanes, but you get great value too – huge portion sizes meant we took some leftovers home!
Overall, I cannot recommend GΓΆkyΓΌzΓΌ Green Lanes enough β excellent service goes hand-in-hand with delicious authentic Turkish cuisine here which is also budget-friendly option compared to similar Turkey run restaurants around London.. I went with a group of friends and we were welcomed by some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. From beginning to end, they made sure our experience was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere inside was cozy and inviting which made us feel right at home.
Our meal started off with a delicious salad accompanied by fresh bread that truly opened up our appetites. We then ordered a mixed starter which was perfect for sharing amongst our group – it had everything from savory meatballs to crispy calamari.
For mains, I opted for their rib eye steak and boy oh boy, it did not disappoint! Cooked exactly how I wanted it and paired perfectly with the chips and mushrooms on the side. To finish off such an incredible meal, we all indulged in some of their delectable baklava followed by steaming cups of traditional Turkish tea.

Lokma Turkish Grill & Bar is an absolute must-visit for any foodie in London. From the moment I walked in, the friendly service and good atmosphere made me feel welcome. The menu had so many mouth-watering options that it was difficult to choose, but I went with my personal favourite – Ribs – and they were absolutely delicious! The food here is excellent quality and cooked to perfection.
I visited Lokma for a work dinner later in the day, and while the layout could be reviewed, it didn’t affect our wonderful time there. We were well taken care of by the attentive staff who kept our glasses filled throughout the meal. Even though we weren’t seated near larger windows with a view outside, this didn’t detract from our wonderful experience.
The ambiance at Lokma is perfect for casual occasions or special events like birthdays. Staff members are attentive yet unobtrusive which creates a lovely dining experience overall. This isnβt my first visit to this restaurant, and it definitely wonβt be my last! If you want great Turkish cuisine served up with love by friendly staff then book a table now; you wonβt regret it.

The decor is stunning and full of character – from the vintage 200-year-old Turkish wedding dress on display to the intricate tiling on the walls. Once we started eating, each dish was an explosion of flavour and cooked to perfection. The small plates are absolutely delightful, making it hard to choose just one favourite!
The service at Iznik couldn’t have been better – Pirlanter is a wonderful host who made us feel right at home in this North London gem. During our visit, we were particularly impressed by their gluten-free and vegetarian options too! My friend has coeliac disease and they had no problem accommodating her needs.
