Not only is Luca an oasis of comfort and deliciousness tucked between buildings, but it also offers a range of dining sections that cater to every mood. Whether you're looking for intimacy or vibrancy, Luca has got you covered. In fact, my husband and I had our wedding dinner here on their enchanting terrace and it couldn't have been more magical.
The staff at Luca are attentive and friendly; however, we did experience a minor hiccup towards the end of our visit when they failed to offer us the remaining wine bottles as a gesture or return them properly. Despite this small blip in service, we returned for our six-month anniversary dinner because we simply couldn't resist reliving those wonderful flavors.
From start to finish, Luca provided not only excellent food but also great service. Although there was no sommelier available to guide us through their impressive wine list or make recommendations, every glass was topped up promptly – including sparkling water! Opting for the chef's menu allowed us to indulge in incredible dishes specially tailored to accommodate different allergens.
Even though some waiters spoke quietly when explaining each course's composition (which made it difficult for me at times), our main server was both attentive and kind throughout our meal. However, be prepared for fluffy napkins that leave behind white bobbles seemingly determined never come off your trousers!
All in all, my sister and I had an unforgettable birthday celebration at Luca with an exquisite lunch consisting of antipasto platters followed by primo courses like bucatini and finished with heavenly dolce creations such as tiramisu.
