The moment I stepped through its doors, I was transported to a rustic and inviting atmosphere that immediately whisked me away from the hustle and bustle of London. From thereon, it was an unforgettable culinary adventure filled with some of the most exciting flavors and textures that left my taste buds tingling.
I opted for their tasting menu which served various sharing plates filled with locally sourced ingredients ranging from savoury cones and eclairs to venison cooked to absolute perfection. The dishes were presented exquisitely, leaving me mesmerized by every plate placed before me. The flavours were unique yet beautifully paired together making each dish stand out above ordinary cuisine.
What also made my dining experience even better was Mikey’s impeccable service as he warmly welcomed us, provided insights into the menu offerings while having a great chat about life overall; needless to say his personality completed our lovely evening.

St Martin’s House simply exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by its luscious and sophisticated decor. The restaurant staff were absolutely superb — some of the most delightful people you could have hoped to encounter. Every dish that arrived at my table was a feast for both the eyes and tastebuds, leaving me craving for more each time! But what stood out to me from their menu were their truffle fries which are a must-have!
The overall atmosphere exudes sophistication without being pretentious, with lively music giving way to engaging conversation amongst fellow diners. While I wish their menu had offered more options than just limited British fare though they did pay close attention to every detail with each plate looking like an art masterpiece.
Despite some minor shortcomings in food preparation (my steak was slightly overcooked), St Martin’s House would still be high up on my list as one of the best dining experiences due to its cosy environment with excellent service and ambiance.
In conclusion, whether it be a romantic dinner or casual brunch with friends or family, St Martin’s House has everything covered; great food presentation that not only tastes good but leaves you feeling satisfied long after you’ve left alongside an ambiance is like no other!

From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with Sally Clarke herself and her warm presence made us feel right at home. You can sense the passion for food within every member of staff who deliver impeccable service throughout your meal. Furthermore, the restaurant is beautifully designed with only a few tables which creates an intimate atmosphere perfect for catching up with friends.
Now let’s move on to what really matters – the food! The menu was carefully crafted using only fresh, seasonal produce resulting in dishes that tasted heavenly and looked like works of art on our plates. Their lunch menu was an absolute steal but don’t resist trying out their à la carte selection as it is worth every penny. Plus, if you have something special to celebrate then their private room experience should be your go-to option!
If there’s one thing I recommend doing when visiting Clarke’s Restaurant make sure you save some space for dessert because oh my goodness they are divine! To sum it all up: beautiful surroundings plus exceptional service equals a truly memorable experience.
I cannot imagine anyone not loving this place – from couples celebrating anniversaries to groups coming together to share unforgettable moments – everyone will find something they’ll love here.
